Upon his landing in New York Harbor he set out on a journey to Seattle Washington, the gateway to the gold fields of the Great Klondike. He struck gold and in a few short years built one of the largest jewelry companies in the United States. Joseph Mayer was about to embark on a historical entrepreneurial odyssey that would leave a lasting mark on the American Jewelry Industry. Though our name has changed from Joseph Mayer & Bros. Inc. to Metal Arts Group, our commitment to producing quality jewelry remains the same today.
